Reading Our Results

The five conditions a figure must meet before it reaches this Site, what nobody may claim in the desk's name, every account reserved on Myfxbook as it stands today, and why Your own will not reproduce it.

A

Definitions

Words with a capital letter carry these meanings throughout the document.

Public account
A brokerage account the Desk trades for itself, whose statement is published for anyone to open.
Publisher
Myfxbook: the third-party service that reads a Public account and hosts its page.
Handle
The Publisher’s name for one account, which is also the address of its page.
Snapshot
A figure a person copied from the Publisher’s page onto this Site, with the date it was read. What it describes is one Desk account, at one size, at one broker, across one stretch of weeks that will not come round again in the same order. It is therefore nobody’s customer result, nothing anyone is invited to aim at, and no statement about what Yours will do.
Gross figure
A return as the Publisher prints it: before the licence price and before Your own trading costs. Section E sets out, line by line, what a Gross figure has never carried.
Verified
Read out of the broker account by the Publisher’s connector, not typed in by the Desk.
B

The five conditions a figure must meet

  1. B.1

Nothing reaches the performance board until all five of these hold. A figure that fails one of them is not printed smaller or printed with a caveat; it is not printed.

  2. B.2
    conditionrule
C1 PublicThe page opens for anyone, with no login and nothing to request.
C2 IndependentThe account is read out of the broker account by Myfxbook's own connector and refreshed by Myfxbook on its own schedule. The Desk types nothing in and can alter nothing afterwards.
C3 TranscribedA person copies the printed value, sign included, and records the date of reading. No arithmetic, no annualising, no rounding.
C4 CompleteThe peak drawdown is printed beside the return at the same size. Where the page has none, the words "not published" stand in its place.
C5 UnclaimedAn account is called real or demo only after that has been read off its page. Until then the Site says nothing and links the page.
  3. B.3

Backtests, strategy-tester reports, terminal screenshots, projections and annualised figures fail C2 or C3 and are never printed, on request or otherwise. If a Snapshot and the live page disagree, the live page is right and the Snapshot is stale.

C

Claims nobody may make

  1. C.1

IndicatorEX claims no income or profit for anyone, and authorises nobody to claim one on its behalf. Somebody who promises a return in the Desk’s name is not the Desk; a note to [email protected] with a link is enough to have it dealt with.

  2. C.2

The rule binds the Desk first. No figure is quoted in private that the board does not print in public, and nobody answering support will name a return You might expect, a period You might expect it over, or a size at which either becomes likely.

D

The board as it stands today

  1. D.1

At the review date no Module has a verified Public account. The performance board prints a dash in every figure column and the words "no verified account published" in every state column. No page on this Site carries a performance figure of any kind, and a number quoted elsewhere under the Desk's name was not put there by the Desk.

  2. D.2

    IndicatorEX Impulseindicatorex-impulseno verified account published
    IndicatorEX Breaklineindicatorex-breaklineno verified account published
    IndicatorEX Regimeindicatorex-regimeno verified account published
  3. D.3

The design is one account per Module, 3 handles in all, each reserved on Myfxbook and named in the board above. Every Plan of a Module stands on that Module’s single account, because a Plan changes which switches are licensed, not which strategy trades.

E

What Your account will not reproduce

  1. E.1

Two separate things sit between a printed figure and the one Your terminal will show. The first is cost the figure never carried. The second is the ordinary distance between two accounts. Both tables below are read against any figure the board ever prints.

  2. E.2
    costin the figure?
    The Desk Licence priceNo.
Your broker's spreadNo. The Desk's broker's spread, yes, which is a different number.
    Commission per lotNo.
    Overnight swapNo.
    Slippage on fillsNo.
    Financing on CFD positionsNo.
  3. E.3

After those, Your net result sits below any Gross figure, sometimes far below it.

  4. E.4
    variableeffect
Broker and price feedDifferent spreads, different fills, sometimes a different candle.
LatencyThe path from Your terminal to Your broker adds slippage the Desk's path did not.
Account size, currency, leverageThe same signal sizes to a different position.
Risk inputsYours to set on the plans that open them; a different setting is a different account.
Start dateTwo accounts running the same Module from different days have different histories for good.
Behaviour in a DrawdownStopping, restarting or resizing during one changes the outcome more than the strategy does.
  5. E.5

None of the six is a defect in the Module, and none of them narrows with time. They are what it means for the account to be Yours.

F

Contact

  1. F.1

A row that puzzles You, or a question about how an account relates to the Module it sits under, goes to [email protected]. Anything on this Site the Desk cannot back up is taken down.

  2. F.2

Read with the Loss Disclosure (T-04).
